What is Natural Linen?
Egypt began to use flax 8000 years ago, which shows that hemp is the first fiber used in humans. The classification of hemp fiber is complex and is affected by resources and process maturity.
Our company introduced flax and ramie fibers that are cost-effective and suitable for home textile products. Especially for flax fiber, with 12H exposure, the survival rate of Candida albicans is 37%, the survival rate of E. coli is only 8%, and the survival rate of Staphylococcus aureus is only 6%. Compared with cotton fiber, it has prominent antibacterial properties.
Studies have shown that flax fiber has a particular pectin oblique pore structure. The fiber structure is hollow and rich in oxygen, which prevents anaerobic bacteria from living. Also, flax emits a strong scent with a strong inhibitory effect on microorganisms’ formation and has a decisive lethality against mites.
Linen Advantage
Linen
High strength, good wrinkle resistance, and stretchability. Good heat resistance and acid resistance. Resistance to dilute alkali at room temperature.
It has a good affinity for dyes, easy to paint, complete chromatogram, and brighter color. Linen cloth has the characteristics of softness, moisture absorption, breathability, and warmth.
Ramie
A relatively thick cotton or linen fabric, most of the yarns are more viscous than ordinary cotton yarns; the material is firm and resistant to folding, has good waterproof performance, and is very durable.
